Part - time Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant



Approx. 15 -18 hours a week.

CHIROPRACTIC/SPORTS THERAPY CLINIC



You will be running a busy reception with a wide range of duties, delivering WOW customer service to our patients. You will learn about chiropractic/sports therapy and how to support the rest of the chiropractic and sports therapy team. Training and support will be provided.

This is a fast paced environment and you will have to be able to multitask. You will need to be able to stay calm, warm and friendly at all times.

We would prefer you to have some front desk experience interacting with different customers.

This does not need to be in a healthcare setting.

Job Responsibilities



The role is part time with hours currently required set between Monday - Friday. You would have set shifts per week over these days but would be required to work additional shifts some weeks occasionally to cover your colleague's holidays or sickness. The shifts will be a mixture of AM and/or PM (8am starts for morning and 7pm finishes for PM). If working all day, a 1 hour paid lunch break is provided.

Tasks include:

- Managing Reception: greeting patients and answering the phone in a warm, friendly but professional way.

- Managing the computerised diary and appointments system.

- Responding to emails from patients and suppliers.

- Taking payments from patients for services provided including using a card machine.

- Recording payments, managing patients accounts and end of day/week banking.

- Recalling current patients on a daily basis and reactivation of old patients.

- Administrative responsibilities include writing of letters, ordering clinic supplies and products we sell, updating weekly stats for the clinic on spreadsheets etc.

- Helping to manage our Facebook/Instagram ads promotions: follow-up on leads, email sequences etc

- Helping to manage the clinic social media pages.

- Promoting our services and helping to educate patients on natural health.

- Helping to run our various internal marketing campaigns, requesting client testimonials and Google reviews.

- Keeping on top of housekeeping and cleaning when required to ensure the clinic is clean and tidy at all times

Essential

- You must be able to speak and write English fluently due to lots of interaction with patients via phone, email and in person.

Excellent communication skills are a must for this role

We will require references from previous employers.

We offer a competitive pay rate, ongoing training and free Chiropractic care for you and a discounted care rate for your immediate family. You will also be entitled to a discount on any products we supply to our patients.

We are a small and friendly team and hold regular team meetings and socials which you will be expected to attend. You may be required to attend external trainings/ conferences occasionally.

There is free onsite parking and you will be encouraged to enrol in the Nest pension scheme available.

12.75-13.00/hour depending on skills and experience.
