Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales and promoting our products. As a Sales Advisor, you will engage with customers, provide product demonstrations, and ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits Maintain high standards of merchandising and stocking throughout the store Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions Assist in maintaining inventory levels and performing regular stock checks

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced customer engagement Familiarity with merchandising techniques and grocery store operations is beneficial Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Ability to carry 30kg or more
