Duties

Greet customers warmly and establish rapport to create a welcoming atmosphere Identify customer needs through active listening and suggest suitable products or services Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to encourage purchase decisions Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and store policies Keep the sales area tidy, organised, and well-stocked to optimise the shopping experience Handle customer enquiries efficiently and resolve any issues promptly Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management as required Contribute to achieving sales targets through proactive engagement and upselling techniques

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Confidence in using basic computer systems and point-of-sale technology A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning about new products and services
