We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support. As a Sales Assistant, you will assist customers with their inquiries, manage sales transactions, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain a well-organised sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stock levels are monitored. Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service. Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock replenishment and conducting stock takes as required.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and product displays. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 9,523.80-12,698.40 per year

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
