PART TIME SALES CONSULTANT

- 3 DAYS PER WEEK

Time & Tide is a contemporary interiors retailer with nine stores in six locations across Central Scotland. We are recruiting for a Part Time Sales Consultant for our largest furniture store, based in the West End of Glasgow next to St George's Cross subway station. The role will include the selling of large furniture items, including: sideboards, sofas, consoles & dining tables, as well as lighting and statement interior decor.

Your aim will be to achieve excellent results in sales through a high level of customer service and visually captivating merchandising.

This position will involve working to a rota, with a combination of weekday & weekend shifts. The contract will include

3 days of work per week.

Overtime may be offered when required. You should be fully flexible to work over the festive season to a variable rota.

The successful candidate will be a key-holder, which requires the confidence to oversee the store without the presence of a Store Manager.

Key Requirements:

A committed and dedicated retail professional with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Previous interiors/furniture retail experience preferred - however previous sales experience is essential

Full training will be provided. Work an electronic till system confidently (iPad based) An individual who can meet and exceed sales targets The ability to successfully negotiate large furniture sales Be driven to maintain excellent standards of shop floor presentation An individual who is enthusiastic about interiors and merchandising stock, and will be actively involved in creating inspiring furniture displays Successfully managing customer orders and effective communication with customers, suppliers & internal departments (Warehouse, Buying, Accounts & Stores).
