Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all garments are crafted to the highest standards. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, where precision and efficiency are key. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, as it will enhance your ability to manage materials and work effectively within our production team.

Responsibilities

Sew, alter, and repair garments according to specifications. Follow patterns, sketches, or design instructions to produce custom pieces. Operate and maintain sewing machines, Lockstitch & Overlocker. Select appropriate threads, and materials for garments. Perform hand-sewing and finishing techniques when needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ensure quality control by checking seams, hems, and garment construction. Communicate with designer, or supervisors to meet expectations and deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing, using industrial machines. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Familiarity with various fabrics and sewing techniques is desirable. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement in work processes.
