Part-Time Showroom / Digital Marketing Assistant Wanted!
Are you a friendly, enthusiastic individual with a passion for helping customers, a flair for online engagement, and a keen eye for interior design? We're looking for a part-time Showroom / Digital Marketing Assistant to join the Marsh & Co. team at Fox Valley!
In this varied role, you'll be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing excellent customer service and ensuring our showroom always looks its best. Beyond that, you'll play a key part in maintaining our online presence, ensuring our brand is vibrant and engaging across social media and our website. You'll also have the opportunity to use your design skills and gain insight into the interior design process to bring our products to life. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, a creative spark, and an interest in interiors, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
Warmly greeting and assisting customers in our showroom.
Answering product queries and providing information, with a focus on how our products can enhance interior spaces.
Maintaining a tidy, organised, and appealing showroom environment, potentially assisting with display design.
Processing sales and handling transactions accurately.
Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks as needed.
Assisting with stock replenishment and display changes.
Responsible for maintaining the company's social media channels (e.g., creating visually appealing posts, responding to comments, engaging with followers).
Updating and assisting with the maintenance of the company website (e.g., product updates, news articles, minor content changes).
Using your skills in design software to support visual presentations or marketing materials.
We're looking for someone who is:
Approachable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Organised and able to multitask effectively.
Proficient with basic computer skills, including social media platforms.
Eager to learn and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
A keen eye for detail and a creative approach to content.
Demonstrates a passion for interior design.
Ideally has experience with Photoshop and Google SketchUp.
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not essential.
Available to work Saturday mornings.
