Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a keen interest in running or fitness and a passion for customer service. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, assisting them with their needs, providing gait analysis after comprehensive training, advice on which trainers are most suitable and promoting our products effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain a well-organised sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively. Deliver one-to-one service through gait analysis and sports shoe fitting (full training provided). Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Utilise upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales. Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling. Answer customer enquiries promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent phone and face to face etiquette. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards. Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organisation of stockroom areas.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Proficiency in English Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively. Basic maths skills for handling transactions. Experience in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities is an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 9,000.00-19,200.00 per year
