Responsibilities
Support lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards in literacy, math, and overall early childhood education.
Assist with lesson planning and classroom activities to promote student learning and development.
Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
Provide individualized support to students with special needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring their participation and progress.
Foster positive relationships with children by encouraging social skills, independence, and confidence.
Support classroom routines such as snack time, transitions, and outdoor activities.
Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean learning space.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support student success and well-being.
Assist in curriculum development efforts tailored to diverse learner needs, including Montessori methods or preschool frameworks.
Requirements
Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
Familiarity with special education practices, including working with children with autism or disabilities.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students.
Background in early childhood education, preschool experience, or daycare environments is advantageous.
