Part Time Team Leader

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership and Team Management:

Provide effective leadership and support to the team. Conduct staff appraisals, performance reviews, and ongoing training. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment. Liaise with senior management when required.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee the creation and maintenance of staff rotas, ensuring all shifts are adequately covered. Address and resolve last-minute scheduling changes or staff absences, this may include the manger working with clients. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and company standards.

Client Relations:

Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Regularly review and update personalised client's documentation in consultation with staff, clients and their families. Ensure client satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Hands-On Care Delivery:

Step in to provide direct support to clients when shifts cannot be covered by staff. Maintain professionalism and deliver support services in alignment with client documentation.

On-Call Responsibilities:

Be available to handle emergencies and operational issues during on-call shifts. Coordinate emergency staffing and resolve unforeseen circumstances effectively.

Compliance and Administration:

Ensure all services meet regulatory requirements where necessary and company standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staff, clients, and operations. Participate in audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

Key Requirements:



Proven experience in a managerial role within the care sector. Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexibly, including on-call duties and providing direct support when needed. Familiarity with company management software and relevant regulations (preferred).
