Trainee/Qualified Dental Nurse

to join our supportive and friendly team.

This is a

part-time

position within our three-surgery, predominantly NHS practice, which has been proudly serving the local community since the 1960s. We have a loyal patient base and we are committed to developing and growing the practice. As a VT training practice, we are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of patient care and professional development.

Your Role

As a Dental Nurse, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and the delivery of excellent patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing chairside assistance to the dentist and ensuring patient comfort. Recording and maintaining accurate patient information and clinical records. Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Supporting the reception team with front desk duties. Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment. Assisting with stock ordering and control. Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment. Following all practice systems, policies, and procedures.

Entry Criteria for Modern Apprenticeship

Two National 5 qualifications (or SCQF equivalent) at Grade A-C in English and a Science Subject A National 4 qualification (or SCQF equivalent) in Maths
