Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tyre Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will contribute to ensuring customer safety and satisfaction through high-quality service.

Duties

Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools with precision and care Inspect tyres for damage, wear, and proper tread depth, advising on necessary repairs or replacements Balance tyres to ensure smooth vehicle operation Perform tyre repairs such as patching or plugging punctures Assist with wheel alignment and rotation as required Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards Keep detailed records of services performed on each vehicle

Experience

Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle systems and tyre maintenance procedures Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and tyre fitting equipment is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during tyre installation and removal Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
