Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to join our team as a Van driver / Warehouse Operative. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our business, involving various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping and receiving.
Duties
Operate a manual forklift pallet stacker safely and efficiently for loading and unloading goods. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and organisation within the warehouse. Participate in picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Perform heavy lifting as required (max 25kg) adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Hold a clean driving licence Flexibility would be advantageous
Skills
Knowledge of warehouse systems or a willingness to learn Friendly customer focused attitude Experience in fasteners is advantageous but not essential Ability to perform some heavy lifting Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment. Effective communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 per week
Work Location: In person
