Overview
We are a growing ventilation business specialising in improving indoor air quality and resolving condensation, damp, and mould issues. We're looking for a practical, personable individual to join us on a part-time basis, combining customer-facing sales with very light, non-invasive maintenance of our ventilation equipment.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meeting people, explaining solutions clearly, and isn't afraid of light hands-on work; but this is not a heavy engineering or installation role.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
(Primary Focus)
Attend pre-qualified appointments with homeowners, landlords, and managing agents
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate ventilation solutions
Explain products and benefits clearly, honestly, and professionally
Prepare quotes and follow up to convert enquiries into sales
Build trust and long-term customer relationships
Play a part in growing the Scotland areas of our domestic network.
Light Maintenance & Aftercare
(Secondary Focus)
Carry out minor, low-effort maintenance tasks such as:
Filter changes
Basic visual checks
Simple servicing tasks (training provided)
Report any faults or issues requiring a qualified engineer
Ensure equipment is left clean, tidy, and operating correctly
Admin & Reporting
Update CRM/job tracking systems accurately
Record survey outcomes, quotes, and follow-ups
Communicate clearly with the office and wider team
What We're Looking For
Confident, friendly communicator with a professional manner
Comfortable in a sales-led role without being pushy.
Practical and reliable, happy to carry out light hands-on tasks with a bit of variety.
Well-organised with good attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Basic IT skills (email, apps, CRM systems)
Experience
Sales, property, or trade-related experience preferred. The role will have set but realistic KPI's with over 10 years of data.
Ventilation, construction, or building services experience helpful but not essential.
Full product and process training provided
