Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfilment, and logistics. This position requires strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods safely and efficiently. Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring that items are handled with care. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktaking as required. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels and order statuses. Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance. Drive flatbed lorries or vans for deliveries when necessary, adhering to all safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Valid driver's licence with experience driving flatbed lorries or vans is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist in the maintenance of warehouse equipment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the operational needs of the warehouse.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
