About the Role
We are seeking a confident and professional Wedding Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is focused purely on coordinating weddings and events on the day itself - ensuring everything runs smoothly from guest arrival through to the evening celebrations. You'll be the go-to person for the couple, guests, staff and suppliers, helping to deliver a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the running of the wedding day, acting as the main point of contact for the couple and venue.
Oversee set-up of dining areas, decor, and catering requirements in line with plans provided.
Manage the catering and front-of-house team during service, ensuring timings are followed.
Liaise with suppliers and venue staff to coordinate logistics on the day.
Troubleshoot and resolve any last-minute issues calmly and professionally.
Provide clear direction and support to service staff.
Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the event and assist with breakdown.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in events, hospitality, or weddings (desirable).
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent people skills with the confidence to manage staff and interact with clients.
Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
Flexible approach to hours, with availability on weekends and evenings.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
