Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a Bar Staff member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest services while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area, while delivering a memorable customer service experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Service with a smile and a team player attitude is a must.

This job role will be for Friday and/ or Saturday nights; with shifts being a start time of between 7pm and 11pm until 3am or 4am. If you are unable to do this, please do not apply on this job post.

Over time will be available throughout the festive period.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Provide outstanding guest services by engaging with customers and responding to their needs promptly. Assist in food service if required, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food & drink handling and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently. Basic cocktail knowledge is advantageous but not essential. Understanding of food and drink safety practices is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A keen interest in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. You must live locally or have your own transport due to late opening hours.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
