There will be opportunities for additional shifts to cover staff absence, and during busy periods.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Team Members to join our vibrant cafe environment. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for food and hospitality.

This is a weekend position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages in accordance with our menu standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to fulfil orders promptly while maintaining quality standards. Assist in the training of new staff members as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation and service techniques.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred, showcasing your familiarity with food preparation and serving practices. Knowledge of food safety regulations is essential to maintain a safe working environment. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing orders effectively. Kitchen or culinary experience will be advantageous, allowing you to contribute to our food preparation processes. Strong time management skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members alike. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
