An opportunity has arisen for an exciting and varied role as an Administrator at Hanbury Wharf, Droitwich, a small but busy canalside village which is home to 40 narrowboats and 9 small business units.
This role will be across 2 businesses -Hanbury Wharf & New and Used Boat Co and requires the successful applicant to be on site every day to carry out the following tasks amongst others:
Moorers & Tenants liaison
Reading electricity meters, and raising invoices
Ensuring Moorer's paperwork is up to date
Ensuring all debtors have paid up to date
Post, petty cash, placing stationery orders
Arranging MOT and insurance for company vehicles
Liaising with sales teams and processing sale completion paperwork.
Assistance with administrative H&S
Assisting accounts with day-to-day general administrative tasks and purchase ledger input
The above list is not exhaustive however does give a candidate an idea as to what to expect in the role. The ideal candidate would have an eye for detail. A working knowledge of Quickbooks/Xero is desirable, but not essential as training will be given.
Working hours are Monday to Friday. Hours may increase from time to time, but 4 hrs a day is expected, and we can be flexible at what point in the working day.
Salary - 13-14/hr
