Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items while adhering to food safety standards. Assist in the supervision of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food production. Manage team dynamics by fostering a positive work environment and encouraging collaboration among staff. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly. Train new staff members in food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and customer service protocols. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience is beneficial but not needed. Culinary experience is desirable but not needed. Supervising experience is an advantage, showcasing leadership skills in managing a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene in food production environments. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. A passion for delivering high-quality service and an eagerness to learn within the culinary field.
