We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and motivated
Part/Full-Time Acrobatic Gymnastics Coach
to join our dynamic coaching team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acrobatic gymnastics and a proven ability to coach children and adults.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programmes, developing students' technical and performance skills, and fostering a positive, disciplined, and inclusive training environment. This role may include both daytime and evening hours, as well as weekend commitments for competitions and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver structured acrobatic gymnastics sessions for recreational and/or competitive gymnasts
Coach and develop athletes in balance, dynamic, and combined routines
Focus on correct technique, physical preparation, choreography, and routine artistry
Create a safe and positive training environment for all students
Work collaboratively with other coaches to support athlete progression
Monitor and track gymnast development, setting goals and providing regular feedback
Prepare students for competitions, including choreography, routine refinement, and mental preparation
Ensure all training follows Gymnastics guidelines and safeguarding policies
Assist with the organisation of club events, displays, and holiday programmes
Contribute to the overall growth and development of the club's acrobatics programme
Qualifications & Experience:
Acro or Gymnastics Qualifications
Experience coaching acrobatic
Demonstrated success in coaching gymnasts at regional, national, or international level (preferred)
Strong knowledge of choreography, technique, and routine construction
Confident in delivering strength, flexibility, and conditioning training appropriate for acrobats
Current First Aid and Safeguarding certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Enhanced DBS check (or equivalent) required
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Desirable:
British Gymnastics Level 2+ coaching qualification
Judging qualifications in acrobatic gymnastics
Experience mentoring or developing junior coaches
Knowledge of injury prevention, sport psychology, or nutrition for acrobats
Experience with choreography or performance in artistic settings

Pay: 22,000.00-33,000.00 per year
