Work alongside experienced business partners to run and grow a thriving local business
Manage and grow a sizeable renewal book of farming and rural clients, with further new business potential in core markets
Advise on bespoke insurance solutions with the support of NFU Mutual
Champion farming & rural communities as a local representative of Ulster Farmers' Union
Uncapped income with on-target earnings to 40k in first year

Here in the Dungannon & Cookstown agency of NFU Mutual, we're looking for an ambitious individual with agricultural sales experience to join the leadership team as a Partner, primarily aligned to the agency's Farming Insurance portfolio.

As a Partner in the NFU Mutual Dungannon & Cookstown agency, your focus will be on:



Building relationships with existing farming and agricultural clients, ensuring high renewal rates are maintained with unrivalled customer care
Managing and growing a new business pipeline, ensuring sales prospects are developed, nurtured and converted into loyal and highly satisfied customers
Advising clients, from farmers to agribusiness owners on highly bespoke insurance solutions, with full training and support from NFU Mutual
Playing an active role in the local farming community as a key representative of the Ulster Farmers' Union

About You

This is a self-employed business opportunity for a proven Sales / Account Executive (or equivalent) from the local farming / agricultural community. Specifically, we're looking for:



Experience in farming/rural/agricultural sales and client management
Strong people skills and a genuine interest in supporting local farmers and rural businesses
A growth mindset with a can-do attitude to develop a successful leadership profile
A customer-focused approach and a passion for building lasting relationships
A valid UK driving licence (due to travel requirements)

UFU Assistant Group Manager

Alongside your main focus as an Agent of NFU Mutual you'll be employed by the Ulster Farmers' Union as an Assistant Group Manager. This places you at the heart of your local farming community--arranging meetings and events, recruiting and retaining members, and keeping them up to date on agricultural policy.
