The Role
We are seeking a Partner Growth & Planning Manager to drive the growth of part time courses and apprenticeships delivered in partnership with our existing network of UK colleges and training providers. We are looking for someone who can confidently establish strong and trusted relationships with managers, curriculum leaders and tutors to understand their challenges and objectives.
You'll need experience of working within a business-to-business customer facing environment in a business development role, with a track record of consistently achieving targets and delivering high levels of customer service. You'll have a passion for generating sustainable growth through strong successful commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Establish strong and trusted relationships with key external stakeholders at our college and training provider partners to understand their challenges and objectives, and demonstrate how our products and services can address their unique needs
Forecast potential growth opportunities for partners, based on national and local market data and insights alongside operational/delivery capacity.
Meet or exceed termly and annual targets by developing and managing the agreed growth plans for existing partners, from initial contact to closure
Deliver compelling presentations to both potential and existing partners that clearly define the value proposition of our products and services.
Develop a deep understanding of Mindful Education's products, features, and benefits, as well as how they align with the needs of colleges and training providers
Work with both our Partnerships and Operations teams to identify potential opportunities that could deliver incremental services and value to existing partners
Representing Mindful Education at local events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings to drive brand awareness and advocacy
Support curriculum managers and subject leads on the best use of our Partner Hub offering, providing guidance and solutions
Ensure the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is kept up to date with customer data
For new partnerships, collaborate with the wider Operations team to ensure a smooth and successful implementation
Work with partners to secure case studies, testimonials, evidence of impact and other promotional activities / content
Provide valuable market and sector feedback to the all Mindful Education teams to help enhance our products and services based on partner needs
Foster and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues across Mindful Education, emphasising collaboration and the sharing of knowledge. Actively share information and ideas to enhance practice and ensure others are kept informed of key progress and developments
Undertake other duties as reasonably expected
Skills and Experience
A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding growth targets
A proven record of developing new business and providing excellent customer service
Experience working in further education and skills, including colleges or training provider
A strong understanding of the FE skills environment, including funding streams, key regulation and workforce capacity planning
Experience in a customer-facing, business to business (B2B) role
The ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders including curriculum managers, subject area leads and tutors. You will be able to tailor your communications to meet the needs of different audiences
Strong presentation skills, both online and in-person
Strong command of written English and an ability to present information concisely and effectively
A willingness to work flexibly with a 'can-do' approach
The ability to work effectively, as part of a diverse and dispersed team, contributing to a positive and inclusive remote work culture
A highly organised working style, with a strong attention to detail and an ability to set and prioritise tasks
Capacity to work within time-sensitive schedules and to deadlines
Confident working with spreadsheets and management information systems
Valid UK driving licence
The following skills, experience and attributes would be an advantage to applicants:
Significant experience working in further education and skills, including colleges and training providers e.g. Head of Sales/BD in an FE college
Experience of working with virtual learning platforms
Experience of working with collaborative software such as Google docs, Monday.com, Hubspot, etc
