Contract Administration of construction or fit out projects
Building pathology
Condition surveys

The successful candidate will be experienced and considered but also someone who is a good business developer and motivator who can support the growth and development of the team and division.
What you'll be doing
Deliver a range of instructions received from clients and colleagues and provide strategic and technical advice.
Manage client and stakeholder relationships. Develop and maintain a personal client portfolio based on repeat business reputation and personal relationships.
Identify areas where future potential services could be required and actively sell into existing clients.
Highlight market changes, areas of interest and potential business opportunities to clients and professional contacts to build and maintain ongoing relationships.
Drive forward actions to target new prospects and pitch/tender for new business.
Seek to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all legislation affecting the technical aspects of building surveying and share knowledge and information where appropriate.
About you
MRICS qualified, relevant building surveying degree or equivalent qualification.
Proven, significant experience and knowledge of commercial and/or industrial building surveying within the private sector and/or in a consultancy firm.
Be able to generate new business. Being able to bring a business pipeline or potential clients with you will be highly advantageous.
Experience of leading or have a desire to lead a team would be a bonus.
Proactive, diligent, motivated, passionate and team player.
Exceptional communication skills when speaking with clients and colleagues.
Organised, good attention to detail, able to prioritise workload.
