Lead Our Partnerships for Inclusive Education: Join Us as a Partnership Lead Officer

Champion Change, Inspire Collaboration, and Transform Lives

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? Do you see challenges as opportunities for growth, both for yourself and others? Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a dynamic, driven, and visionary Partnership Lead Officer; someone ready to shape the future of education for all students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Why This Role Matters

Imagine leading the charge to reduce fixed term suspensions and permanent exclusions, empowering schools to deliver inclusive practices, and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. In this pivotal role, you'll act as the trusted bridge between local authority, schools, academies, and families--championing the voice and potential of young people across our county.

Your Mission

Drive inclusive excellence by guiding schools on best practices, supporting critical points and finding innovative alternatives to permanent exclusions. Advise, inspire, and challenge head teachers and senior staff to reimagine education for at-risk pupils. Coordinate holistic, cross-phase partnerships, drawing on the strengths of colleagues, families, and external agencies. Lead strategic development, monitor progress, and showcase the impact of partnership working through insightful reporting. Champion the educational journeys of children accessing alternative provision, ensuring quality, accountability, and opportunity for all.

What You'll Bring

A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to reducing permanent exclusions and fixed term suspensions. Deep knowledge of SEND, safeguarding, and the latest research and guidance in education. Strong leadership experience in educational settings, with a track record of inspiring others and facilitating change. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. The ability to build effective relationships and influence policy and practice at all levels. Resilience, drive, and a relentless focus on positive outcomes for young people.

What We Offer

The chance to work alongside passionate professionals in a thriving, supportive environment. Opportunities for ongoing professional development, leadership, and impact at a strategic level. A platform to shape policy, steer best practice, and leave a lasting legacy in inclusive education.

If you're ready to be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and the power of education to change lives, we want to meet you!

Apply now and lead the transformation--your vision, our future.
