Key responsibilities:
Development of new partnerships.
Leading on identifying, researching, engaging and converting new prospects and relationships, including management of our income generation pipeline.
Developing compelling proposals, with a focus on creating employment opportunities for young people across our network of corporate partners.
Working with our comms team to ensure our mission, vision and value proposition are communicated effectively, to raise brand visibility.
Implementation of our income generation strategy.
Executing the organisation's fundraising strategy, working alongside the CEO and Engagement Officer towards a shared target, with a focus on corporate partnerships.
Identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with GoodWork's priorities and project needs.
Working with the CEO to develop our propositions, periodically refreshing our value proposition with creative ideas, proposals and content to inspire decision makers.
Supporting the development of funding proposals, providing feedback on applications and working with the team on drafting key strategic applications.
Partner and funder engagement.
Working with the CEO to manage and retain relationships with existing partners and funders, including liaising with our programmes team to ensure reporting requirements are met.
Representing GoodWork at external events, including standing in for the CEO where required.
Management of partner and funder databases.
Leadership and collaboration.
Joining the organisation's Leadership Team, playing a mentoring and eventually Line Management role to junior colleagues.
Contributing to GoodWork's organisational development and strategic direction.

What we're looking for:
A strong track-record in income generation
, with demonstrable evidence of significant new business income generation and proven ability to develop and manage corporate partnerships.
We will also consider candidates with proven business development experience in the private sector, with a well-articulated desire to move into the third sector and ability to rapidly build relevant knowledge and skills.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills,
with experience of managing stakeholder relationships and networking at all levels. Able to establish and manage effective working relationships with people of diverse working styles, backgrounds and industry experience.
Drive, ambition, strategic and creative thinking
, with the ability to frame propositions to deliver mutual benefits for both GoodWork and our prospective partners.

Understanding of and alignment to our mission
