Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Partnerships
Identify and secure new business opportunities with local organisations, societies, and companies
Event & Campaign Delivery
Support the planning and execution of high-impact events, activations, and seasonal campaigns
Collaborate with venue teams and marketing to maximise event success
Attend and represent the brand at local events, fairs, and networking opportunities
Market & Community Engagement
Lead student engagement across both numerous student bodies
Maintain awareness of nightlife trends and competitor activity
Promote the group's presence within the local community and social scene
Reporting & Administration
Track and report on partnerships, bookings, and event performance
Provide insights and commercial impact reports to management
Maintain accurate CRM and contact records
Build and maintain strong relationships that contribute to increased bookings and revenue
Manage outreach pipelines and ensure consistent business development activity
Experience
Proven experience in event coordination or a related role within hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or fundraising sectors is preferred.
Demonstrable skills in upselling techniques to maximise revenue opportunities during events.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Experience in guest services or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a professional approach throughout.
