About the Role




The Sponsorship Sales Manager will be an integral member of the Legends Global Partnerships Team, located in London. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Partnerships, the manager will be responsible for working with active sponsorship property accounts and internal & external stakeholders. This role will have a primary focus on a current client who participates in the English Premier League. In this pivotal position, you'll drive new business opportunities through strategic prospect engagement and build the foundation for lasting client relationships that fuel our growth in the sports and entertainment space.

Key Responsibilities:





Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue qualified sales opportunities aligned with our partnership objectives Evaluate potential clients using thoughtful criteria to ensure proper fit and maximise conversion potential Create meaningful connections with potential clients that set the stage for long-term partnerships Utilise Salesforce to track interactions, manage prospect data, and automate follow-up tasks Work closely with the VP of Global Partnerships to align strategic initiatives and drive business growth Partner with our strategy team to leverage data-driven insights about prospects, identify market trends, and refine targeting approaches for maximum impact Manage own creative sales presentations, alongside sales leads. Assist wider LGP team in relation to global project needs regarding sales delivery. Assist in the development of sales related documents, working in collaboration with various internal and external members of the team to stay ahead of industry trends (i.e. Keynote presentations, detailed proposals, fact sheets, etc.)

We are looking for someone with:





Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related field. Experience within the sports & entertainment industry Highly self-motivated, initiative-taking mindset that enables the ability to work independently. Highly organised, with a laser-like focus on the details to proactively manage multiple clients/projects/priorities at once. Proven sales experience with demonstrated success in consultative selling approaches Previous experience in business development or customer-facing roles within sports, entertainment, or related industries Strong time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple prospects efficiently Creative problem-solving capabilities to address client challenges and identify unique solutions Adaptability to navigate changing priorities in a fast-paced sports industry environment Proactive attitude with a very strong blend of analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to communicate effectively with internal sales and management teams in English. Strong skills in Adobe and the Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Willingness to travel
