Relevent Football Partners (RFP) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Relevent, purpose-built to commercialise the UEFA men's club competitions globally. An independent entity, RFP is tasked with providing UC3 - the joint venture between UEFA and the European Football Clubs (EFC) - strategic and sales support in the worldwide marketing and sale of media, sponsorship, and licensing rights for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League, and the UEFA Futsal Champions League.


Following the UC3 tender process, Relevent Football Partners were awarded the commercial rights to the UEFA men's club competitions (Champions League, Europa League and Conference League) on a global basis for the 2027 to 2033 cycle.


As such, Relevent Football Partners is now seeking to build a truly world class business, focused on the monetisation of these commercial rights.

Position Summary




The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in delivering best-in-class servicing and activation for UC3's global sponsorship portfolio across the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League. Acting as a trusted advisor to partners, they will bring a fresh approach to the delivery of contracted rights for partners, acting as an innovator and facilitator. This role ensures contracted rights are executed to the highest standard, enabling partners to achieve global multi-channel marketing campaigns meeting brand and business objectives.


Working closely with the Global Partnerships Lead, the Partnerships Manager will champion a client-centric approach, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the creation of long-term value for UC3 and its partners.

Key Responsibilities



Partnership Management



Support the Global Partnerships Lead with day-to-day operations and client servicing Develop a trusted relationship with UC3 and all partners to become a key point of contact on all partner related matters Deliver world-class partnership servicing and activations across assigned partner accounts, ensuring all rights are fulfilled against partner objectives Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on rights usage and activation to maximise value and impact Lead regular partner meetings, ensuring clear communication, performance tracking, and actionable recommendations Identify best-in-class processes & opportunities to support the growth of the partnerships offering

Relationship Management



Build strong, positive working relationships with key stakeholders including commercial partners, UC3, European Football Clubs, UEFA, partner agencies, talent agents and clubs Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful operational, insight-led integrated partnerships aligned with partner objectives Work with sponsors, UC3 and the wider RFP organisation and other stakeholders to find solutions and deliver outcomes that deliver the desired outcomes for all parties Mentor, manage and support the Partnerships Executive, supporting them to grow within the partnerships team, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration

Qualifications & Experience



Proven experience managing and activating partnerships within the sports and/or entertainment industry Familiarity with rights-holder processes and governance Highly proactive approach to account management, with the ability to identify challenges and propose solutions Strong relationship management skills, with experience acting as a trusted partner to major brands Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to being an effective team player Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding organisational, time management, and planning skills High proficiency across Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage
