Hughie Willett Machinery Ltd has been established for over 35 years and is an award winning agricultural and horticultural machinery dealership based between Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield . Based on our 100 acre farm, we supply an extensive range of agricultural and horticultural and arboriculture machinery brands throughout central England and also sell high-quality used equipment across the UK and internationally. We are a solution focused, agile business which thrives on using our extensive experience and expertise to help customers in many sectors with their machinery requirements.

About the Role



We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about machinery and helping people find the right solution for them. As a key member of a small but dedicated team, the

Trade Counter Sales Advisor will get to know repeat customers and become an integral part of the operation gaining insight into all areas of the business, There is in house training provided there are also excellent opportunities for training across many of the brands that we sell.

This is a full-time role, with hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities


On a day-to-day basis tasks include:

Promoting and selling parts,machinery and servicing through all to meet customer needs, by telephone, face to face and online and processing payments.*
Ensuring orders are ready for customer collection or packaged for courier/postal delivery*
Providing parts to Service Technicians by identifying parts required and ordering them to the relevant job number*
Verifying receipts of incoming deliveries, including booking stock onto the management system, depositing stock in the correct location and forwarding to despatch / workshop as needed.*
Assisting in maintaining high showroom stock and display standards*
Maintaining control of stock levels and assisting with stock takes*
Any other jobs as required*
References required.*

Candidate Requirements ( our key requirements are highlighted )



Strong ability to giving amazing customer service and able to convert that into sales.*
Having a cheerful outgoing personality with the ability to work as part of a team and also ability to work on own initiative.*

Experience working with Kubota parts or other similar vehicle parts*

Good understanding of how a tractor / ride on mower / combustion engine works*
Ability to use standard computer applications to a good level - experience of Brightpearl would be an advantage but not essential.*
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, while remainingflexible and adaptable 5 GCSEs plus 1 A level or equivalent ( Maths and English are required ).*

Experience working with any of the following brands John Deere, New Holland, Massey Ferguson, Case, Kubota, Stihl, Husqvarna would be advantageous, and those skills would be transferable.
