Due to ongoing success, we are actively recruiting for a Store Person/Parts person to work closely with the warehouse/production team.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that the materials are distributed to the assembly facility. Re-order points are achieved in a timely manner & are accurately controlled. As part of the purchasing team, you will be key in ensuring the efficient planning and purchasing of materials to meet quality, cost & delivery criteria in line with the business objectives. Taking calls from after sales customers, preparing quotes/issuing materials for on-ward delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities.

To maintain pre-set stock levels when required taking into account specific supplier lead times. Stock rotation. Keep stores clean, safe & tidy at all times. Liaise with production. Control & monitor the receipt of goods & documentation, ensure that procedures are carried out accurately. Ensure accurate physical checking of deliveries and that system updates are timely. Distribute materials to the workforce on a requisition basis. Ensure all stores operational activities are carried out in a safe & efficient manner. Ensure warehouse records are maintained in a timely & accurate manner. Perpetual stock reconciliation & ad-hoc full stock counts. Organising stock storage system. Expediting of orders to ensure on time delivery.
About you.

Experience of working in a goods in / stores environment. Previous experience in the motor industry is essential A fast learner with a passion for accuracy & organisation. Able to closely follow instructions & processes. Fork lift driving qualification would be an advantage but not essential. IT literate - Word / Excel / Outlook etc. Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail Ability to work alone and as part of a team
