Ideally this will be a trainee role, where learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering and making telephone calls to customers and suppliers Safe loading and unloading of inbound/outbound products and safe movement to and from the Stores and the Workshop To pick and pack Parts orders - ensuring shipments are accurate, damage free, and dispatched on time to meet customer requirements Keeping appropriate records and producing reports to guarantee that tight inventory control is maintained Performing accurate physical inventory stock takes on a regular basis Maintaining good housekeeping across multiple work areas Completing any reasonable tasks as required, to meet business and departmental needs Complying with all Health and Safety Policies and other Company Procedures Stock control Assist with other areas of the depot where necessary.
Requirements:

Experience of Microsoft packages - Excel, Word, and Outlook Good communication and organisational skills Proactive and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Confidence and ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision or as part of a team A good attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring quality & quantity of output Experience within the construction and demolition industries would be an advantage but not essential A clean full UK driving License (may be required to collect and drop off orders)
