Position Overview
The Parts Programme & Automotive Support role is a dynamic position combining programme management, operations support, and business administration for the Avant Automotive division. The primary focus is managing automotive parts programmes, with additional responsibilities supporting broader automotive programme operations and administration.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders including bodyshops, trade suppliers, and clients. While parts programme management is the priority focus, the role also provides essential support across other automotive programmes to ensure operational excellence.
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Parts Programme Management (Primary Focus - 60%)
Oversee automotive parts programmes, ensuring set targets are met and initiatives run efficiently
Identify vehicles requiring parts support and coordinate effectively with UK bodyshops
Provide additional parts support to bodyshops, aiming to optimise programme outcomes
Assist bodyshops with accurate estimates for vehicle repairs
Communicate effectively with programme teams to ensure efficient case handling
Actively participate in the verification of parts and final decision-making processes
Drive engagement with trade suppliers and lead programme-related meetings
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each case handled
Monitor programme performance and identify areas for improvement
Adapt to supporting multiple parts programmes as the business evolves

2. Automotive Programme Support (40%)
Produce complex reports using advanced MS Excel functions and market-leading bespoke systems
Develop and produce client meeting packs, board papers, and executive summary documents to a high standard
Create PowerPoint presentations on behalf of Automotive team members and senior management
Support with, and produce professional templates for, tender responses and new business pitches
Extensive data management and analysis in conjunction with the analytics team to identify areas of improvement and drive programme performance
Programme administration support including onboarding, mapping, and franchising coordination
Bodyshop and Network market penetration analysis
Helpdesk and inbox management, providing ad hoc support to VM networks
Taking, typing, and distributing minutes as required
Project Management responsibilities ensuring completion to tight deadlines
Assist with ad hoc tasks and provide operational support to the Automotive Account Director as needed

Demonstrating effective teamwork across departments and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying and resolving challenges promptly and proactively seeking opportunities for improvement in processes and systems
Delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Working to Client standards and satisfying the terms agreed with the Client
Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in automotive parts sales, vehicle damage assessment, or automotive programme support
Knowledge of automotive repair processes, especially related to BMW/MINI vehicles (highly desirable)
Extensive administration and business operations support experience
Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to find solutions with data
Desktop Publishing / Document Production experience essential
Strong analytical skills to assess vehicle damage, repair costs, and programme performance
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with bodyshops, suppliers, and internal teams
Proficiency in using specialized software and technology for vehicle assessment
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
Motivated and wants to develop both personally and professionally
The ability to work autonomously
Confident and focused
Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
