John Barr Cars is seeking a professional and friendly

Parts Sales Advisor

to join our team, assisting customers in finding the right parts for their Isuzu or KGM.

You'll be responsible for supporting our customers with all their Isuzu pickup parts needs, from identifying the correct components to processing orders and keeping them updated on availability. You will also work closely with our technicians, service team, and suppliers to maintain accurate stock levels, organise deliveries and collections, and ensure every customer receives friendly, professional service from the moment they contact our parts department.

Responsibilities

Welcome and support customers at the parts counter, helping them identify the right components for their Isuzu or KGM vehicle. Use dealer systems and parts catalogues to look up, price and process parts and accessory orders Keep parts and accessory stock tidy and accurate, including regular stock checks and updates Organise and track all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments so orders are picked, packed and dispatched on time Handle enquiries by phone, email and in person, providing clear, friendly updates on availability, pricing and lead times Work closely with technicians, service advisors and the wider team to make sure workshop jobs are completed on time and in full Suggest suitable products, upgrades and accessories that add value for the customer and support vehicle reliability and performance

Requirements

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries, orders and deliveries while maintaining attention to detail Confident communicator in person, on the phone and in writing, with a professional and approachable manner Good knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, or the ability to learn quickly with training A genuine focus on customer service, with a positive, helpful attitude and willingness to go the extra mile Comfortable using computers and software to look up parts, process orders, and keep stock records accurate A full, clean driving licence GCSE or equivalent
