Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology preferred
- Proficient in basic math calculations for pricing and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive parts environment is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and taxes accurately
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed
- Organize and maintain the parts department to ensure a clean and efficient workspace
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and meet customer needs
- Use dealership software systems, such as Excel, to track and manage parts inventory
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and new products in order to provide customers with the most relevant information
