Job Description

At HGV Direct, we are committed to supplying high-quality commercial vehicle and HGV parts to customers across the UK. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Sales Advisor with experience in car or commercial vehicle parts to join our team and support our continued success.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with every other Saturday required.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

Provide professional advice and support to customers, ensuring they receive the correct parts and a consistently high standard of service.

Apply Product Knowledge

Use your technical understanding of car or commercial vehicle parts to accurately identify and recommend suitable products.

Drive Sales Performance

Proactively promote and sell our extensive range of parts and accessories to both trade and retail customers.

Manage Stock Effectively

Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels and support ordering processes to ensure availability of key products.

Prepare Accurate Quotations

Produce timely, competitive quotations tailored to individual customer requirements.

Work Collaboratively

Liaise closely with colleagues across sales, warehouse, and management teams to ensure efficient operations and excellent service delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a parts sales role, ideally within the car or commercial vehicle sector Strong technical knowledge of vehicle parts and components Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills Ability to work under pressure and achieve sales targets Confidence using stock control and sales systems (experience with parts software is advantageous) Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about the automotive industry
