A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen with Sandown Motor Group for an experienced Parts Supervisor at their retailer in Epsom.

The Role

Overseeing the Parts Team, the Parts Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the site has the right parts mix and inventory level to meet demand for servicing, repairs and sales to third parties. By maintaining an efficient parts operation, the Parts Supervisor makes an important contribution to productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction. The Parts Supervisor and their team are responsible for the receipt of all parts orders and ensuring that they are accurately interpreted and promptly picked and dispatched for retail, trade and internal / workshop customers.


Main Duties:

Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimise stock levels while minimising excess inventory and carrying costs. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular Stock audits, and reconcile discrepancies. Provide accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing parts transactions. All Parts verification completed daily Ensure vehicle health checks are completed accurately to maintain workshop efficiency. Advise the Aftersales Manager of any backorder issues, using the Mercedes-Benz parts escalation process to provide updates. Supervise a team of parts staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Interact with customers to understand their parts requirements and aid in locating and selecting the right parts. Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with both speedily and effectively, referring any unresolved problems to the After Sales Manager. Strive to exceed customer expectations, both internal and external, by always delivering exceptional service

About You

Key Skills/Attributes Required.

Experience of working in a Main Dealer Parts environment in a Supervisory role. Experience using Kerridge. Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz parts and systems. Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and documentation.


Applicants will be expected to be immaculately attired as is befitting the Mercedes brand and must hold a full Driving Licence.

On Offer

The hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.00- 18.00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)


Saturday 08.00 - 13.00 on a rota basis will be required and paid as extra hours.


Salary: Up to 46,000 OTE -

Basic 36,000
