Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team as a part-time driver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent communication with both warehouse staff and customers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of all materials. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and any discrepancies. Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as required, including heavy lifting and organising stock.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with regulations is essential.
