Role Description

This is a part-time, fully remote role for an Accountant on a 12-month contract. The Part-Time Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing our financial accounts and reports. Your key responsibilities will include preparing month-end accounts, managing journals and reconciliations, maintaining fixed asset registers, and supporting internal audits. You will also be involved in processing payroll journals, preparing VAT returns, and monitoring cash flow forecasts. This fully remote role offers flexibility and requires a proactive approach to financial management and reporting. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support, contributing to the financial health and success of the organisation.

Qualifications

Fully AAT-qualified accountant.

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.

Strong track record in month-end accounts production in a multi-currency environment.

Experience with audits.

Proficiency in reconciliations, fixed assets, VAT, and control documents.

Familiarity with running month-end payroll and preparing associated journals.

Expertise in Excel, Power BI/Power Query, and financial systems.

Experience with Xero or similar software (preferred).

Data-driven, detail-focused, and organised.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
