Job Description
A Part-Time Accountant is required to oversee financial processes and ensure compliance within the Accounting & Finance department in the business services industry. This permanent position in Worthing offers an opportunity to utilise your accounting expertise in a flexible working arrangement.
As the Part-Time Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and manage financial statements and reports in line with CMP scheme
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
A successful Part-Time Accountant should have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance with a valid practising certificate.
- Proven experience in managing financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
