Job Title:

Permanent, Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Location:

Witnesham, Suffolk IP6 9FE

Initial Pay:

12.21 p/h with pay and performance review at 6 months.

Hours:

15.0 hours per week/ 5.0 hours p/day over Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9.30am to 2.45pm (with 15 minutes p/day unpaid lunch)

Wage Performance Review:

at 6 months

Holiday Entitlement:

17 days including 5 bank holidays and extended Christmas break

Enhanced Holiday Entitlement:

On every Annual Anniversary you will be awarded 2 days extra paid holiday, up to an additional 10 days

Our Head Office is based in a new executive Denbury Home in Witnesham where our Accounts team face stunning countryside views of farmed crops looking directly onto ploughed fields where we enjoy the ever changing seasons as they are farmed.

The Opportunity:



Due to company expansion we are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Witnesham Head Office accounts team working alongside and reporting to the operations director. This is a key role in the business where you will help support the existing accounts team in the management of approximately 800 live, repeat business commercial automotive clients across the country. In an accurate, efficient and timely manner, you will be:

Posting sales ledger invoices to QBO following specific client criteria Managing client PONs Preparing and delivering fortnightly client statement runs Setting-up & Credit Checking New Client Accounts Updating Vendor Compliance Registration Documents Maintaining and updating existing client data in QBO Liasing with all company partners via telephone, WhatsApp and email Handling incoming emails and phone calls with exceptional customer service Meeting deadlines and handling any queries in a timely manner Supporting the existing accounts team in all daily operations Assisting in other general day to day accounts/ admin duties

We are Seeking:



We are seeking an extremely dedicated, highly motivated, precision-based and a highly organised, reliable professional to join our existing accounts team.

Previous experience using QuickBooks Online accountancy programs is advantageous. If you are AAT qualified (Level 1-2) or have previous experience working in a main dealership accounts department, we are keen to hear from you.



The successful candidate will need:



Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks online/ desktop) Strong knowledge of sales ledger and purchase ledger processes Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Precision based data entry skills Excellect communication skills with exceptional spelling & grammar is essential An ethos of delivering Customer Satisfaction in all communications The ability to work independently and as part of a small team To be friendly and professional with a positive attitude
The candidate must have confident IT skills with experience in QuickBooks Online and latest Microsoft Office 365 programs - Word, Excel & Outlook. Those with SAGE 200, SAGE 50 or Xero Accounts experience, also considered.

Those with the following experience will be prioritised:

Main Dealership Accounts Department Experience AAT Level 1-2 Accreditation QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop essential SAGE 200, SAGE 50 or Xero Accounts experience Accounts Assistant: 2 years minimum (required) Living in the local 'IP' postcode location
Work Location: 100% Office Based in our stunning Witnesham location (IP6)

Transport: Car Owner/ Driver essential
