We are a medium-sized family-run ice-cream and frozen food wholesaler based in Edmonton, N18.

We are looking for a

Part-time

Accounts Receivable Clerk

to work within our Accounts Team with a high level of numeracy and a keen eye for detail.

Preferably with a minimum of an entry level qualification or equivalent experience.

A working knowledge of Excel is essential. Training will be given on our industry specific accounting package.

You will need to be enthusiastic, pro-active, approachable and personable.

You will be able to work in a team and independently.

Good communication skills are a must.

The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Overall, to have pride and passion in your work and add value to the current team.

The role will include the following:

Record and process incoming payments; including checks, credit payments and bank transfers.

Process delivery driver's daily collected monies and handle any issues arising.

Reconcile customer accounts to ensure all payments are allocated correctly.

Manage customer enquiries/queries relating to discrepancies/disputes of payments.

Maintain accurate and organised records of all transactions.

Maintaining filing systems.

Ensure GDPR compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Cash handling.

Adhoc duties.

This list of duties will increase and diversify as your knowledge grows. You will be fully trained by the Finance Manager.

This is currently a part-time role, possibly leading to a full-time position.

This includes Company Pension Scheme, 20 days holiday (pro-rata) and on-site parking. NHS TopUp Company Health Care Plan after 6 months.

This is a permanent position. Monday to Friday. The hours are 1pm - 5.30pm.

This is an in-person role. Working from home is not available.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
