Job Summary

Dancemania Dance Company is a well-established dance school in Oxfordshire, providing professional dance training for students 2.5yrs to adults. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic dance teacher to teach Acro/Gymnastics in Kidlington, Oxfordshire. We are looking for a confident, dedicated and ambitious individual to grow our Acro/gymnastic school in the Kidlington area.

Responsibilities

Teach Acro/Gymnastics classes to students from 4yrs - 16yrs Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to different skill levels. Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students. Contribute to the growth and development of the Acro/Gymnastic school. Become familiar with the Acro Syllabus with the British Theatre Dance Association, preparing students for examinations.

Qualifications

Preferably a recognised teaching qualification (Although training can be given) Previous experience in teaching dance and or Acro Gymnastics. First Aid certification Enhanced DBS Safe guarding training (level 2 ) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A patient and adaptable approach to teaching, with a passion for inspiring young minds.

Schedule

Saturday mornings - 9.30am - 12.00pm term time only

Dancemania is a large dance school, we would love to grow the Acro/Gymnastic side of the school and open in other areas.
