Associate Dentist

sought to work 2 days (ideally Mondays and Wednesdays).

Other work patterns considered.

Permanent or Temporary (to cover maternity leave) position also considered. Established patient base.

Clayton Brook Dental

is small independent 2 surgery practice near Preston/Chorley/Leyland/Blackburn (postcode: PR5 8ES).
Current long standing associate of ~10 years, is currently on maternity leave; usually does 3,500-4,000 UDAs over 3.5-4 days, plus some private work.
Current practice opening hours are:
Mon 9am-5pm, Tue 9am-5pm, Wed 8:30am-5pm, Thu 9am-7pm, Fri 9am-1:30pm.

UDA rate negotiable, minimum 14/UDA.

An associate working a 7 hour day would usually be expected to achieve 28+ UDAs/day.

Additional UDAs available at 20/UDA

via NHS/ICB's Children's Access and Oral Health Pathway. Additional training may be required to provide care under this additional (2yr) contract. This additional contract allows the practice to see new NHS patients age 0-16 only.

New adult patients only seen on a private basis.

50% split on private fees and all lab bills.

SFD, Systems For Dentists. Durr, VistaScan, VistaSoft.
Brand new Belmont Voyager III chair downstairs and second-hand Belmont Voyager II chair upstairs. The practice is situated south of Preston, within 5 minutes drive from major motorways links M6 (J29), M65 (J2) and M61 (J9). You can find us between Preston, Blackburn, Leyland and Chorley. Private car parking and plenty of local amenities (Morrisons Daily, Post Office, Whittlebrook Pharmacy, ASDA, McDonald's, Subway, Starbucks, Esso, Lidl, Shell, Sainsbury's, Burger King, Aldi).

Summary

We are seeking an Associate Dentist to join our dedicated team at Clayton Brook Dental. Responsibilities

Utilize imaging technologies effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols. Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Dental degree from an accredited institution with valid registration. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. NHS Performer Number. Clear DBS check.
