Job Overview:
We are an independent coffee shop and matcha tea house located in Canada Water. We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea
- Ensure the quality of drinks meets the cafe's standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment proficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the cafe area
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service
- Operate the till system accurately
Requirements:
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist colleagues as needed
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
