Lume is looking for a

friendly and experienced Part-Time Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in coffee preparation and dessert handling, delivering high-quality beverages and sweet treats to our customers in a welcoming and efficient environment.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about coffee, desserts, and customer service in a vibrant cafe setting.

Key Duties:

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks Assist with dessert preparation and presentation Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, including equipment, counters, and service areas Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times Support the team during busy periods and help with stock rotation and inventory Assist with setting up and clearing tables when needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a barista in a cafe or hospitality environment Experience with desserts or food preparation is preferred Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Reliable, punctual, and professional Flexible availability, including weekends

Health & Safety Considerations:

This role involves handling hot beverages, equipment, and food, as well as standing for extended periods. Full health and safety training will be provided.
