We are looking for a bookkeeper/accountant to work for us part-time, who could:
Balance accounts (also known as 'double book keeping')
Process sales invoices, receipts and payments - using Sage
Pay Suppliers - BACS payments, Proformas, etc
Set up Payroll processing
Complete VAT returns
Prepare invoices for the Inland Revenue
Check company bank statements
Prepare cash flow statements
Deal with financial paperwork and filing
Deal with certain aspects of health and safety and related paperwork
The candidate would also act as a secretary (taking phone calls, writing emails, passing on messages, etc).
It is desirable that the candidate would be well versed with computers, and internet surfing generally, specifically Sage and Microsoft Powerpoint, word and Excel.

We are a small company (4 employees) and as such can be very flexible with working hours, enabling you to fit this part time role around your schedule. for example, 9am - 12pm one day, 1pm - 4pm the next day, etc...
The candidate should also have a good grasp of both written and spoken English.
