Cafe Assistant (Part-Time)

25+ hours per week

Monday-Friday

Normally the shifts times will be 11am-4pm, however during the holiday period 1st August-30th September candidates must be flexible to work additional hours to cover other shifts between 7am-4pm.

This position is not suitable for students who will not be available to commit to Monday-Friday shifts on their return to school/college/university in September.

Hourly rates:

21 years & over 12.21

18-20 years 10.00

Since 1994, CHAT Coffee House & Newsagents has been an independent retailer in the Belfast City Hospital. We work closely with local suppliers to provide top quality coffee, delicious bakery and food-to-go for our NHS workers, patients and visitors.

What is the Role?

You will be delivering excellent customer service to our fantastic loyal & new customers You will be making speciality coffees which we will provide full training & support You will display & replenish all our delicious bakery products throughout the day You will be using the Merry Chef ovens to reheat deli products You will be trained in cooking sausage rolls etc. for the hot food unit You will be restocking products such as confectionery, crisps, soft drinks You will be in a customer facing role handling cash & card transactions You will be part of a small team working together to maintain a hygienically clean & well presented environment

Essential Requirements:

Over 18 years old 1 years' hospitality experience
