Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that all office areas are well-maintained and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

- Dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors.

- Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly.

- Cleaning and sanitizing office desks, chairs, and workstations.

- Vacuuming carpets and rugs.

Restroom Maintenance:

- Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, and restocking supplies.

- Ensuring restrooms remain hygienic and presentable.

Kitchen/Break Area Cleaning:

- Wiping down surfaces, cleaning sinks, and disposing of food waste.

- Ensuring coffee machines and communal appliances are tidy.

Windows and Glass Surfaces:

- Spot-cleaning internal windows and glass partitions as needed.

Special Attention to Dust:

- Addressing the additional dust and debris generated by the construction environment.

Other Duties as Assigned:

- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to site management.

- Adhering to specific cleaning requests from the site or office manager.

Requirements:

Experience:

- Previous cleaning experience preferred, especially in construction or office environments.

Skills:

- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper usage.

- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.

Physical Demands:

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and bending.

Safety Awareness:

- Understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites.

- Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

Flexibility:

- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required.

Personal Attributes:

Reliable and punctual.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Trustworthy with access to site offices.

Friendly and professional demeanor.

Additional Information:

Training: On-the-job training will be provided, including site-specific safety protocols.

Transport: Must have reliable transportation to reach various sites.

Compliance: Must adhere to all site regulations, including any background checks if required.
