Overview Immediate Start

We are seeking a PART TIME Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join our small and friendly team. Main responsibilities will be local deliveries and warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating a Forklift, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the warehouse environment and delivering them out to our customers. This post is initially on a part-time basis with the potential for full-time in the future for the right candidate as the business continues to grow. Working days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday with the opportunity for overtime to cover holidays.

Responsibilities

- Delivering goods to our customers using our own vans in and around Nottm/Leics

- Perform warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and shipping orders

- Operate forklift and other equipment for material handling

- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles

- Utilise internal inventory management system for order processing

- Answering the warehouse phone and taking message details.

Skills

- Full Clean UK Driving License

- Delivery Driving Experience using company vehicles (vans)

- Experience in warehouse operations including material handling

- Competence in forklift operation and other machinery inc Forklift Operators licence

- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks effectively

- Strong skills in picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods
